Picking up a camera in college to take photos of camping trips, surfing and documenting time with friends. I decided to pursue my hobby full time. I put in my 6 months ( I know it’s usually two weeks, but I wanted to give my employer more of a heads up) to leave my job, sell my car, my motorcycle and all of my belongings except for all of my camera gear and a backpack full of clothes. I then bought a one way ticket to Medellin Colombia. I spent the next 6 months in Colombia taking as many courses as I could on photography and Videography. I ended up working for a motorcycle rental company taking photos and videos for them. It gave me the opportunity to explore all over Colombia and spend as much time as I could behind the lens. Since then I’ve returned to the U.S. and have taken on numerous photo and video jobs since. I love what I get to call “work” and all the opportunities and people I get to meet along the way.
